Rev Kobi D. Robertson

Pastor of St Paul Institutional Baptist Church

 

Rev Kobi D. Robertson is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. He has graduated from Southwestern Senior High School, attended Catonsville

Community College of Baltimore County for Mortuary Science, United Baptist College & Seminary, and Arlington College & Seminary. 

Currently pursuing a Master of Divinity from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology Virginia Union University

 

Rev. Robertson grew up in the Mount Moriah Baptist Church under the pastorship of the late

Rev. Dr. Arthur J. Benn. It was at Mount Moriah that Rev. Robertson accepted the Lord Jesus the

Christ as his Personal Savior and call to Gospel Ministry. The following awards have been

received: Outstanding Member & Outstanding Youth Awards at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and

Honored by the United Missionary Baptist Convention. Member of the Adult Class # 3 in the

Sunday school. Prior to being licensed to preach was an active member of the Benn’s Chorale

Ensemble, Junior Male Chorus, and Junior Usher Board.

 

On Friday, October 31, 1997, Rev. Robertson preached his initial sermon and ever since, has

been exemplifying Matthew 28: 19 – 20 by spreading The Great Commission, “Go ye therefore,

and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy

Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am

with you always, even unto the end of the world.” Regular Mid Week preacher for Mt. Moriah

Baptist Church. Preached in several states including VA, NC, and Delaware. First Associate

Minister to preach Annual Men’s & Women’s Day. Member of the Hampton’s Minister’s

Musician Conference, National Baptist Congress, Eastern Regional of the United Missionary

Baptist Convention, attended Pastor’s & Lay Member’s Conference in Bahamas, Teacher &

Lecturer for Youth Retreats for various Churches

 

Rev. Robertson was installed as Youth Minister in February, 2005, under the leadership of Pastor

Stephen M. Smith. Under his leadership, the ministry became more fruitful and spiritual

rewarding. He placed a ministry theme which states “We are a Chosen Generation that exists

to expose Youth & Young Adults to God’s love, equipping them to exalt God, enjoy other

believers, and experience to work of the ministry” 1 Peter 2:9; 1:12-23. Rev. Robertson also

served on the 1st Christian Education Board of Mt. Moriah under Pastor Smith.

On April 6, 2002, Rev. Robertson married the former LaToya A. Cutts. They are blessed and

proud parents of two handsome sons, Dazuruis Journe’ and Khayri Charles.

 

Rev. Robertson was elected as Pastor of St. Paul Institutional Baptist Church on October 26,

2011. He has adopted his motto from his grandmother whom planted a seed of wisdom which is:

“if I can help somebody as I pass along, if I can cheer somebody with a word or song, if I can

show somebody they’re traveling wrong, then my living shall not be in vain, if I can do my

duty as a Christian ought, if I can bring back beauty to a world up wrought, if I can spread

love’s message that the Master taught, then my living shall not be in vain.”

Lady Latoya Robertson

LaToya A. Robertson, a native of Baltimore, Maryland, was born on November 7, 1977. She accepted Christ at an early age at the Mount Moriah Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev Dr. Arthur J Benn.

In her youth, LaToya was active member of the Junior Courtesy Guild, Junior Usher’s, The Benn Choral Ensemble, and the Youth Ministry at Mt. Moriah. She later became a member of the Deaconess and Minister’s Wives and has served as Vice President for two terms. She served as one of the Church’s Wedding Coordinators and the Corresponding Secretary for the Women’s Ministry. LaToya served as the 2nd Vice President of the Greater Baltimore Fellowship of Minister Wives and Minister Widows and currently serves as Financial Secretary. In addition to, she is a member of the International Association of Minister Wives and Minister Widows, Inc.

LaToya is a graduate of Coppin State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science (Business Administration). She is currently employed by the Social Security Administration (Headquarters) and has worked there for over 15 years.

In April of 2002, LaToya married Minister Kobi D Robertson and they are the proud parents of two sons, Dazuruis Journe’ and Khayri Charles.

As Christ continues to lead the LaToya, she is inspired by one of her favorite versus in the bible which is Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” LaToya strives to be all that Christ has called her to be and to walk boldly before Him with exceeding joy. Although she is very quiet, she is always willing to extend her hands.

Min. David WIlson was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. Min. Wilson graduated from Northern High School, attended Morgan State University and presently seeking a BA Degree online at Liberty University.

Min. Wilson preached his initial sermon and was licensed to preach at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church May 5, 2010, he later joined the St. Paul Institutional Baptist Church April 2012. Min. Wilson was installed as Minister of Discipleship & Outreach in September 2014, under the leadership of Pastor Kobi D. Robertson.

Min. Wilson is married to Sis. Rovenia Wilson and they are the proud parents of two sons Terrence and Marcus. Min. Wilson challenge verse is John 4:34, Jesus saith unto them, my meat is to do thet will of Him that sent me, and to finish His work.
